A Place 4 Me Collaborative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and ending youth and young adult homelessness in Cuyahoga County.
Our Work
Our work is built on three areas that work together and inform each other to provide a powerful solution to youth homelessness in Cuyahoga County:
Direct Services
Youth Navigators with lived experience in homelessness, housing instability, and/or the foster care system help young people access resources and achieve their goals. The A Place 4 Me team provides emergency financial assistance, household items, furniture, snacks, and a financial capability matched savings program.
Authentic Youth Engagement
A Place 4 Me operates on mantra: “Nothing about us, without us.” Meaning, we strive to empower young adults with lived experience in all of our work. Our REACH Youth Action Board, comprised of young people with lived experience, leads efforts for change in our community and act as key decision makers and advocates.
Systems Change
Using a collective impact approach, A Place 4 Me leads the movement to prevent and end youth homelessness in Cuyahoga County. We coordinate efforts, create a safety net, and provide an array of housing options and other supportive services through a racial, ethnic, and LGBTQ+ equity lens.
