Direct Services
Meeting immediate needs.
Building pathways to stability.
A Place 4 Me’s direct services support youth and young adults experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and foster care involvement.
Through relationship-based support, flexible resources, and youth-centered programming, we help young people navigate immediate challenges while building toward long-term stability and belonging.
Youth Navigation
Youth Navigation provides individualized support for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our Youth Navigators bring lived experience in homelessness, housing instability, and/or foster care, helping them build trust and connect with young people in meaningful ways.
Opportunity Passport®
Opportunity Passport® supports young people with foster care experience as they build financial capability and navigate the transition to adulthood. Through financial literacy, matched savings, open bank accounts, and asset-building opportunities, the program helps youth and young adults invest in goals that support long-term stability and success.
Youth Drop-In Center
A Youth Drop-In Center is being developed as a place where young people ages 16 to 24 who are working toward the stability of a home can find respite, safety, and support along the way. The Youth Drop-In Center is an initiative of A Place 4 Me, operated by Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, and shaped in partnership with the REACH Youth Action Board.
